ARLIE PIG...

~
I had purchased Arlie Pig from my mom's friend Jackie, in January of 1999 when I was visiting in Florida. The real trick was in getting him onto the airplane. First I had to purchase a special carrier for him... but that wasn't the end of it...the fun part was getting him to the airport, and checked in.

~If you ever want to move to the front of the line when checking into the airport, be sure to take along a squealing baby pig. Everyone was so delightful. "Oh, he's so adorable..." they'd say, "Would you like to go in front of me?" Before I knew it, I was checked in and enjoying a cup of hot tea. LOL.

~For the first year of his life Arlie would go along to Thornmar with me when I went to work, but as he got older, he became too big and fat to climb the stairs, so I stopped taking him.
