BLACK SHOULDER
WHITE EYED PIED

"Cowboy"

Cowboy is a four year old Black Shoulder White Eyed Spalding, purchased from Clint Walker of Barclay, Md. on February 16, 2009.

He is housed in the Amherst Room with the Lady Amherst Pheasants, and the Frillback and Fantail Pigeons. We also moved Pejuta into the pen as a companion. They both seemed to have settled into their new surroundings, nicely.

UPDATE OCTOBER 6, 2009

Due to the length of Cowboy's train, we moved him into the Indigo Room in May. He is getting along well with Windchime, Jasmine, and WiyaPi
In July, Cowboy molted all of his beautiful feathers, and is now beginning to grow new ones for the spring courting season.
