Burt and Ernie are from our first brood of chicks. They are a cross between Tristan and our free range English Game Hens. We certainly don't need more roosters, but they're just too beautiful to eat or to send to auction, so we've built them their own little area next to the Rheas. Bruce gets the credit for naming them. |
