Crazy Horse Medicine Lodge was initially begun 1998 to be used as a Sweat Lodge,
but it would not be until the fall of 2001, after beginning our studies with
Caocoochie, that we would decide upon how to build the roof, and finish it.
When the opportunity arose for Kelly and I to participate in the Sweat
Ceremonies with The Whirling Rainbow Lodge, we decided that our structure
would better serve as a Medicine Lodge. And since, it has been use
frequently as a Sacred Place for prayer and meditation.
Breaking ground and laying the stones for each direction.
