Aries was purchased on October 8th as a companion for
Achilles. She was born in the spring
of 2009.
Being the new kid on the block, upon her arrival,
Aries took a fair amount of abuse from the other critters in the Swan
Suite.
Though she initially did a considerable amount of pacing, hiding, and
avoiding contact with many of the larger birds, it wasn't long before
she had had enough and stood her ground. Now she seems happy and settled
in.
Achilles watches her from a distance, but he keeps a fair pace between
them. |
