LIGHT BRAHMA CHICKENS |
|
|
![]() |
I purchased four Light Brahma chickens from
Clint Walker on September 4, 2008, two hens and two roosters. |
| Brahmas originated in the United States, but were named for the Brahmaputra River in India. They were developed by crossing Chinese Shanghai chickens with Chittagongs. They are one of the largest breeds of chickens, and are known for their large brown eggs. They are hardy in both the heat and cold. |
