 Their first venture outside. |
These ducklings were purchased on May 23, 2008. From day one they loved the water. As soon as I placed there water bowl in their cage, they would squeeze as many as would fit, then splash until the bowl was empty. |

Now that the Mallards are over three months old, it's
obvious that one of them is a male. I have named him Hector. As you can
see from the photographs, he is changing into quite a handsome critter.

 September 11, 2008 I'm amazed at much Hector has changed in the past week. The color of his head has become more vibrant and full, and the ring around his neck, more distinct. |
