"Rosie", named in honor of the Rosebud Valley in Montana, was born in 1999, and the first foal to be delivered here at Gypsy Haven.

Rosie began her training with P.A. Keating in 2002.

In 2003 Rosie was moved to Crimson Stables in Chestertown where she was trained under saddle by Sandy Griffiths of Earleville, Md. She is absolutely gorgeous, a quick learner and a delight to work with.

She now currently resides in Millington, Md., with her half sibling Mitakola Snow Feather.

When Rosie was two months old, Kathy Hugler and I strolled through the pasture in the moonlight to visit the horses, and there in the shadows of the night, Rosie captured Kathy’s heart in such a way that Kathy could not forget her encounter with the lovely black filly. Kathy purchased Rosie and she continued to reside at Gypsy Haven until 2003.	Kathy and Rosie the day of settlement.
