We arrived at Pennypacker on Friday evening at dusk. Though the forecast was calling for rain, we managed to unload the car and set up our tent with little interference from Mother Nature. I awoke sometime after midnight to the lovely music of rain dancing on the canvas.

Terrie McClay (myself).

On Saturday the rain was steady, and continued throughout most of the afternoon, clearing long enough for the men to engage in a short battle before returning to camp in their ponchos. Another break came in time for dinner.

I saved my two favorite photos for last.

Doug and Carol's grand-daughter, Amber.

By Sunday morning the rain ended and I was able to cook up a breakfast of scrambled eggs, sausage links, and hash brown potatos.

My friend Dana came by and we strolled around camp, did some shopping, then eased our bones into some big old rocking chairs to listened to some old time music.

The General's wife, Barbara.

Amber again. This photo reminds me of Laura Ingles from "Little house on the Prairie". What a pretty smile.
