POLISH CHICKENS

Kimie purchased her Polish Chickens on August 6, 2008.  She has one black, one black silver laced, and two buff.  We're not sure yet whether the buff colored ones are laced or not. It is too early to tell.

Kimie just loves her chickens.

The black silver laced.
Polish chickens are a European breed known for the wild tuff of feathers on the top of their crown. Though their name would imply that they originated from Poland, the oldest account that mentions a crested chicken, comes from the Netherlands.

Though they are known for the pure white color of their eggs, Polish Chickens are primarily an ornamental bird and are bred for show.
