Bruce and I
stopped at the Badlands on our way to Montana. In taking a short hike we discovered that the higher we climbed, so did the
temperature. From the Basin to where we ended our trek, there must have
been a 20 degree difference in the temperature, which we estimatedto be
in the high nineties.
